Scarlet Brewery has three objectives:
1. Create Great Tasting Beer 2. Give Away Great Tasting Beer 3. Have Fun Scarlet Brewery started a few years ago as a side hobby. After a few successful batches, I was hooked and began to expand my beer knowledge and brewing equipment. So far, I have done both extract and all grain batches, from stouts to ales. With each successful batch, I continue to learn more about the process, and have begun creating my own recipes. As mentioned, The Scarlet Brewery is all about having fun. I always give away my beer, and all I ask is for honest feedback. If you feel the taste is off, let me know! If it is the best beer you have ever tasted, let me know! I have yet to keg any of my beer, as I feel that would limit who gets to drink it. Each 5 gallon batch produces about 26 20 ounce bottles. I usually distribute all bottles within a week. The equipment I use is a combination of my own investment, gifts, and donations. I am always looking into upgrades, but at the same time I do not want to over complicate things. If you have an empty keg that is just taking up space or a large glass bottle that you don’t need any more, let me know and I would be happy to take it off your hands.
